Hey there! I’m Taylor DeCosta, CEO and Executive Chef of Taylor Made Cuisine.

TMC began in 2016 as a one-woman show: I worked mostly as a private chef, while also doing small catering events and meal prep gigs on the side. Today, 8 years later, TMC is a multi-million dollar business with a focus on healthy meal delivery, corporate and private event catering.

I’ve had a passion for food since I was a little girl; cooking and entertaining was something that always came naturally to me. I used to host intimate “dinner parties” for my friends in high school and constantly had the family TV switched to the Food Network.

After several years of coasting through community college and working my way up in the retail world, I began to feel restless - searching for a true purpose in this world. In 2012, I met Mike at a birthday party and used my secret cooking skills to impress him… and it worked! Mike was actually the person who convinced me that I needed to turn my love of food into a career.

I attended culinary school at Orange Coast College and graduated top of my class with an Associate’s Degree in Advanced Culinary Arts, having been one of the only teacher’s assistants to ever exist in the program.

After I graduated in 2016, I began the business and also married my partner in all things, Mike, later that year. The best decision I ever made was asking him to be my business partner, because without him - TMC would still be an underground operation. He’s the one who keeps the wheels on around here!

In those beginning years, I conducted all my business over text message and word spread solely via word of mouth. My goal is to apply that same attention to detail and personal touch to every meal delivery and catering event that TMC does now.
