TMC Remix: Green Chicken Chili

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with us!

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re launching a special series of TMC Remixes that honor our founder Taylor DeCosta’s Hispanic roots. First up, she’s serving a Tex-Mex-inspired Green Chicken Chili that’s perfect for dipping and packed with bright and bold flavors.

Green Chicken Chili

Serves 4 

Ingredients:

  • 2 TMC Spicy Green Chile Chicken

  • 1 TMC Borracho Beans

  • 2 Cups Chicken Stock

  • 1/2 can of canned corn

  • Slurry: combine 2 Tablespoons of Cornstarch + 2 Tablespoons of Cold Water

  • 1 Whole Lime

  • Cheddar Cheese for garnish

  • Pickled Jalapeños for garnish

  • Cilantro, stems removed for garnish

  • Optional: Siete Tortilla Chips for crunch

Instructions:

  1. Add spicy green chile chicken and borracho beans to a pot.

  2. Add chicken stock and corn.

  3. Stir together and cook at medium heat.

  4. Once chili starts to gently boil, add slurry and mix.

  5. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes.

  6. Remove from heat and serve in bowls.

  7. Garnish chili with lime, cheddar cheese, pickled jalapeños and cilantro.

  8. Enjoy warm!
